The Weber 38/38 is the most cost-effective performance upgrade for cars with a 2 barrel downdraft carb. It has two synchronous 38mm barrels (as opposed to the progressive linkage of the 32/26), and modified engines show a big improvement with this carb over the 32/36.
This carb is not “smog legal”. We can carry additional jets for tuning. You must enlarge the intake manifold plenum opening for the larger butterflys and modify/replace the linkage rod, but otherwise the 38/38 will bolt right onto the stock 2 barrel manifold. We also sell the correct throttle rod. This version uses an electrically-operated choke which only needs a single 12 volt switched lead to operate.
