🔥 294C / 435 “Demon” Camshaft – Toyota 22R / 22RE (Carb Preferred)

This is it — the wildest, most aggressive camshaft in our lineup. The 294C / 435 “Demon” is built for full-throttle performance, high-RPM power, and old-school throttle response. It’s not for the faint of heart, and it’s definitely not your typical street cam. If you're building a Toyota 22R for track use, drag racing, or just want to raise hell on the strip, this cam brings the heat.

🔧 Specs:

  • Advertised Duration: 294°

  • Lift: .435"

  • Overlap: 68°

  • EFI Compatibility: ❌ Carb-only recommended
(Note: May work with 22RE ECU , but tuning is strongly advised)

✅ Best For:

  • Radical carbureted 22R builds

  • High-RPM, wide-open-throttle use

  • Track, race, or performance-only engines

  • Builders looking to push the limit on NA setups

🧠 Ground by a Pro, Built to Perform

Every cam is made from a brand-new core and is personally ground in-house by a camshaft specialist with 32 years of experience. If you’ve run an EPN cam before, you already know what to expect — real-world performance with quality you can feel.

💡 Lobe Separation Angle (LSA) Options:

Choose the lobe separation that fits your build goals. Every cam comes standard with 110° LSA, but we offer custom options at no extra charge:

  • 108° LSA – Tight, lopey idle and hard top-end pull

  • 110° LSA – Balanced for street/strip use

  • 112° LSA – Smoother idle, better low-end torque

  • 114° LSA – Broader powerband, may improve EFI compatibility (22RE stock ECU)

👉 Just let us know your preferred LSA when ordering.

⚠️ Important:
All new Toyota camshafts require high-zinc oil (ZDDP) during break-in and throughout the engine's life to protect cam and lifter surfaces.
