💥 Overview

The Vortex 227 MidLope is a performance-oriented hydraulic roller profile engineered for SBC street/strip builds that demand a commanding idle, strong midrange torque, and clean top-end power. With 227°/227° duration @ .050" and modern roller lobe geometry, this cam produces excellent cylinder pressure and sharp throttle response while maintaining enough vacuum for real street driving.

Designed for 350s, 383 strokers, 327 hot rods, and aggressive 305/307 builds, the MidLope is the ideal "middle ground" cam — big attitude at idle, strong midrange punch, and a wide powerband that pulls hard to 6500 RPM.

Available in 108°, 110°, and 112° LSA, each installed 4° advanced, this profile can be configured for an aggressive street lope, balanced street/strip manners, or EFI-friendly drivability.

If you want your SBC to sound mean and run strong everywhere, the Vortex 227 MidLope is the perfect match.
